4 week Intro to Floristry course at Studi0ne, Bridport

Come and join us for this 4 week Introduction To Floristry Course with Sarah from local flower farm WE GROW COLOUR. You will be using only locally grown flowers and foliage to learn a range of skills to create beautiful, colourful arrangements.

We are passionate about how beneficial flowers, herbs & colour are for our wellbeing. We will be sharing a little about our growing journey and about the wonderful properties of the flowers you will be using, with tips for growing your own cut flowers.

Week 1 : (14th June) Flowers suitable to grow and use as cut flowers, conditioning stems, basic principles of design, Jam Jar arrangement

Week 2: (21st June) Recap on conditioning stems, spiralling stems, create a small hand tied arrangement

Week 3: (28th June) Vessel arrangement using sustainable mechanics

Week 4: (5th July) Wiring flowers and making a half flower crown

All levels of experience are welcome, with all materials and equipment supplied.
